Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Sharpnd. (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the golf practice tracking application available at sharpnd.io. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what we collect and why.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account data — your email address and (optionally) a username when you create an account.
  • Practice data — round scores, drill results, XP history, streaks, and handicap values you enter into the app.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration, and device/browser information collected automatically.
  • Email list data — if you join our waitlist or subscribe to updates, we store your email address.
  • Payment data — if you subscribe to Sharpnd. Pro, billing information is handled directly by our payment processors (see Section 5). We do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and improve the Sharpnd. service — including generating practice plans, computing XP, and displaying your progress.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g. streak reminders, welcome messages) that are directly related to your use of the app. You can opt out in your profile settings.
  • To send product update emails to waitlist subscribers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by contacting us.
  • To process subscription payments and manage your account tier.
  • To analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve the product. We do not sell individual usage data.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics, if enabled, uses privacy-respecting tools that anonymise IP addresses and do not build individual advertising profiles.

5. Third-party services

We share data with the following services only to the extent necessary to operate the product:

  • Supabase — database and authentication provider. Your account and practice data are stored on Supabase infrastructure.
  • Vercel — hosting and CDN. Vercel processes request logs that may include your IP address.
  • Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend to send you messages.
  • Stripe — subscription payment processing (Pro tier). Stripe handles billing data under their own privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat — subscription management for mobile platforms. Used to validate and sync subscription status.
  • Anthropic API — AI-generated practice plans (Pro tier). Drill inputs and weak-point data may be sent to Anthropic to generate personalised recommendations. No personally identifiable information beyond practice metrics is shared.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them if you have specific concerns.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and practice data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g. billing records).

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (right to erasure).
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.

8. Children's privacy

Sharpnd. is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Sharpnd. after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
